Bill of lading data: We will use the attached "Booking Details" document to create your Bill of Lading. Please review it immediately.
Amendments: You must notify us of any corrections via email within 24 hours of receiving this email. Changes made after this deadline may incur an amendment fee.
Vehicle Dimensions: Verify that your physical vehicle perfectly matches the quoted dimensions. Ports measure vehicles on arrival; any discrepancies will result in price increases.
Southampton Port Restrictions: Vehicles departing from Southampton must be "clean and empty." Only factory-fitted manufacturer items are permitted. Non-compliant vehicles will be rejected at the port.
Other UK Ports & Personal Effects: If departing from other ports, you must contact us before loading items inside the vehicle. Port approval is mandatory, and extra charges may apply. Personal items are not listed on the Bill of Lading, are shipped at your own risk, and are not covered for loss or damage.
Customs Compliance: The shipper is solely responsible for arranging all government export and import documentation for both the origin and destination countries.
Import Restrictions: Ensure your vehicle complies with all destination country import laws. Non-compliant vehicles face rejection or seizure.
Unclaimed Cargo: If the consignee fails to collect the cargo at the destination port, all outstanding port and storage charges will be billed back to the shipper.
Hazardous Status: This booking is strictly conditional on the vehicle being shipped as non-hazardous.

🧾 For the Attention of the Invoice Party (Shipping Supermarket Ltd)

Post-Sailing Payments: Payments made after the vessel has sailed must be sent via BACS bank transfer. Credit/debit card payments made after sailing will be refunded, and refunds can take up to 10 working days to clear back into your account.
Quote Validity: Rates are locked based on the actual vessel sailing date, not the booking date. If your shipment sails after the quote expires, rates are subject to change.

🚚 Collection & Loading Information

Haulage Changes/Cancellations: You must notify Shipping Supermarket Ltd in writing via email at least 2 working days before the scheduled loading time. Cancellations inside this window will incur additional charges.
Loading Assistance: No loading assistance is provided for haulage or collections unless explicitly specified and agreed upon in advance.
Transport Type: All vehicle collections are conducted via open transport trailers unless stated otherwise.
